Giorgio Rocca Ski Academy è un idea nata e sviluppata in Engadina, precisamente a Sankt Moritz a partire dal 2010; oltre ad essere subito diventata un’azienda leader nell’insegnamento di sci e snowboard offre l’esperienza agonistica dello Ski Team, un vero e proprio Sci Club dotato di un fitto calendario di allenamenti e competizioni. Dalla stagione 2016/17 la Giorgio Rocca Ski Academy sbarca ufficialmente a Livigno dove sarà possibile effettuare lezioni di sci private o in gruppo con insegnati qualificati e formati direttamente da Giorgio Rocca. La sezione GR-SKI Events opera già nelle località più esclusive dell’arco alpino con le sue Experience di Coppa del Mondo a Sestriere, Val Gardena e Madonna di Campiglio ma è disposizione di privati e aziende per organizzare eventi su misura in altre località su richiesta. Giorgio Rocca nasce a Coira, nel Cantone dei Grigioni, il 6 agosto 1975, da mamma svizzera e papà italiano. Il suo talento sugli sci lo porta a intraprendere la carriera agonistica e colleziona importanti successi nel panorama internazionale. Scelto come portabandiera per l’Italia ai mondiali di Bormio nel 2005, in quella stagione mette a segno cinque vittorie consecutive che lo portano a eguagliare i record di Tomba, Stenmark e Girardelli. #11 VITTORIE IN COPPA DEL MONDO #3 MEDAGLIE CAMPIONATI DEL MONDO VINCITORE DELLA COPPA DEL MONDO DI SLALOM 2006 FILOSOFIA: Mi piace sciare perché è il luogo in cui mi sento più a mio agio nel mondo. Gli sci sono per me un prolungamento dei piedi e so che ci posso fare quasi tutto. Dopo tanti anni sulla neve ho ancora una grandissima voglia di provare le emozioni che scaturiscono ad ogni curva, con l’aria fresca che punge il viso. Sono molte le cose che mi permettono di dire che sciare è lo sport più bello del mondo, una su tutte è il ricordo indelebile delle emozioni provate alla prima vittoria in coppa del mondo a Wengen nel 2003.
